Six years ago, whenever possible, she fled this town and vowed never to return again, leaving many unresolved matters behind. Upon returning, Mackenzie still doesn't like the small town; neither do its inhabitants particularly welcome her presence. In fact, no one wants her there—not even Mackenzie herself.
